PRO TIP: Pay Your Bills
A elderly man in Detroit has recently died after freezing to death. He was behind on months of electricity bills until finally the electricity company cut his power. This left his home unheated and he eventually died. When he was found, the temperature in the house was below freezing.
I want to make it clear that it is sad that this man died. I also want to make it clear that it was unnessecary. He could have paid his bills, called the electric company and explained the situation, paid his bills, called a relative, or even paid his bills.
