nomnomnom

I’ve just purchased a new domain for a new venture. I really love food, so, I’m going to create a blog about Knoxville’s best, and worst, restaurants.

Look for it in the coming weeks.

win7_versions

Remember how Windows Vista had all those different versions that made little to no sense? Well, although Microsoft has learned from some of their mistakes from Windows Vista, it is apparent that they haven’t learned from all of them. The official versions have just been announced:

  • Windows 7 Starter: up to 3 concurrent applications, ability to join a Home Group, improved taskbar and JumpLists;
  • Windows 7 Home Basic: unlimited applications, live thumbnail previews & enhanced visual experience, advanced networking support (ad-hoc wireless networks and internet connection sharing), and Mobility Center;
  • Windows 7 Home Premium: Aero Glass & advanced windows navigation, improved media format support, enhancements to Windows Media Center and media streaming, including Play To, and multi-touch and improved handwriting recognition;
  • Windows 7 Professional: ability to join a managed network with Domain Join, data protection with advanced network backup and Encrypting File System, and print to the right printer at home or work with Location Aware Printing;
  • Windows 7 Enterprise and Windows 7 Ultimate: bitLocker data protection on internal and external drives, DirectAccess for seamless connectivity to corporate networks based on Windows Server 2008 R2, BranchCache support when on networks based on Windows Server 2008 R2, and lock unauthorized software from running with AppLocker.

So, which one are you going to be pirating buying?

Vaseline is Magical!

Category: Random ThoughtKyle Bubp @ 9:57 am

First, I would like you to take a look at JackASCII’s post about the GSP v. BJ Penn fight at UFC 94. If you watched the fight, you know that GSP totally dominated BJ Penn. I mean, look at this photo:

Penn is Done

Penn is Done

Look at the fear in BJ Penn’s eyes. He knows he is done, he knows he is out classed. What I can’t understand is why every BJ Penn fan somehow thinks that because GSP’s trainer may have rubbed Vaseline on GSPs shoulders, that it gave him a complete advantage over BJ Penn.

Luckily, I have some videos of the trainers doing what they are accused of and you can clearly hear Dana White in the background complaining about it. Then, you can clearly see someone from the Nevada Athletic Commission come over with a towel and wipe it off.

Also, that Vaseline surely didn’t help GSP be able to dodge Penn’s punches or assist him in the brutal ground and pound he delivered to Penn’s face on numerous occasions. Please, watch the following videos:

Personally, I think the trainer was a moron to do that, but they clearly noticed it and wiped it off. I don’t think it had any effect on the fight really. BJ Penn needs to stay in his own weight class, especially with his lack of training. Really, the guy is so lazy its ridiculous.

For me, I can’t wait to see what GSP brings to the Octagon this year. I’ll leave you with one final photo of GSP’s domination over Penn, a lovely superman punch:

No Vaseline Needed
